This 33-unit facility was designed to maximize site connectivity and utilization--parking is intentionally placed away from the living and community areas to maximize social interaction. The site drainage plan maximized surface drainage in a treatment train that slows storm water movement and increases infiltration with the use of surface swales, overland flow, and an underground settling/detention basin. The design also incorporated green design elements such as geo-exchange air-conditioning, white roofs, solar-ready roofs and canopies, and energy recovery ventilation.
